I'm lorentm, a digital artist, and I'm very excited to share with you my latest creation. As a big fan of @holozing characters, I decided to make a fan art of the charming grass raccoon in anime style, adding my personal touch of tenderness to it.
The grass raccoon character has always fascinated me with his adorable appearance and unique design. This anthropomorphic raccoon with anime influenced features is truly charming. Her big expressive eyes are one of the most attention grabbing elements that contribute to her innate tenderness.
In my interpretation, green colors predominate in his fur, combining darker tones and flashes of yellow to create a vibrant and natural effect. I added a leaf pattern on his body, suggesting his vegetal or grassy qualities, which connects him even more with nature.
One of the details I enjoyed most when creating this piece was his fluffy tail, which emits a turquoise glow at the tip, and his ears, which also have a luminous halo. To complete the natural look, he wears a small leaf on his head, a touch that I find charming and reinforces his connection to the environment.
The background of the illustration shows a forest full of tall grasses and trees, enhancing the feeling of being immersed in a natural and magical environment. I wanted to create a scene that transports the viewer to a fantasy world, where the grass raccoon lives his adventures.

Soy lorentm, una artista digital, y estoy muy emocionada de compartir con ustedes mi más reciente creación. Como gran admiradora de los personajes de @holozing, decidí realizar un fan art del encantador grass raccoon al estilo anime, añadiéndole mi toque personal de ternura.
El personaje del grass raccoon siempre me ha fascinado por su apariencia adorable y su diseño único. Este mapache antropomórfico con rasgos influenciados por el anime es verdaderamente encantador. Sus grandes ojos expresivos son uno de los elementos que más capturan la atención y contribuyen a su ternura innata.
En mi interpretación, predominan los colores verdes en su pelaje, combinando tonos más oscuros y destellos de amarillo para crear un efecto vibrante y natural. He añadido un patrón de hojas en su cuerpo, sugiriendo sus cualidades vegetales o de hierba, lo que lo conecta aún más con la naturaleza.
Uno de los detalles que más disfruté al crear esta obra fue su cola esponjosa, que emite un resplandor turquesa en la punta, y sus orejas, que también tienen un halo luminoso. Para completar el look natural, lleva una pequeña hoja en la cabeza, un toque que me parece encantador y que refuerza su conexión con el entorno.
El fondo de la ilustración muestra un bosque lleno de altas hierbas y árboles, realzando la sensación de estar inmerso en un entorno natural y mágico. Quise crear una escena que transportara al espectador a un mundo de fantasía, donde el grass raccoon vive sus aventuras.

Grass Raccoon goes deep into the woods, talks to wildlife and protects natural harmony. His story is a legend that leads him to discover his purpose in this intriguing world.
Su pelaje verde y morado, sus grandes ojos expresivos y su cola luminosa lo hacen destacar. Es curioso, aventurero y tiene una profunda conexión con la naturaleza. Grass Raccoon se adentra en los bosques, habla con la fauna y protege la armonía natural. Su historia es una leyenda que lo lleva a descubrir su propósito en este intrigante mundo.
Process / Proceso
Creating the digital drawing of the grass raccoon was a very rewarding experience, full of details and creativity. I want to share with you the process I followed to bring this adorable character to life.
I started with the sketch, which is always the first fundamental step. I took my graphic tablet and started to draw soft and light lines, looking to capture the essence of the grass raccoon. During this phase, it is crucial to focus on the proportions and pose of the character. I opted for a pose that highlighted his tenderness and playful character. The big eyes and fluffy tail were essential elements from the beginning.
Once I was satisfied with the sketch, I moved on to outlining. Here, I sharpened the lines, making them clearer and more defined. I used a fine digital brush for the contours and took care of every detail, from the luminous ears to the small leaf on the head. This stage requires precision, as it establishes the base on which the colors and effects will be applied.
The next step was the coloring. I decided to use a palette of greens for the grass raccoon's fur, alternating between darker tones and flashes of yellow. I used separate layers for each section of the character, which allowed me to adjust the colors without affecting the rest of the drawing. The leaf pattern on her body was a fun part, adding variations of green to simulate a vegetal look.
Applying shadows and highlights was the phase that really gave depth and life to the drawing. I used soft shadows to create volume and highlight the body shapes, especially in the areas where natural light would touch the character. The shimmers, on the other hand, were applied to the eyes and the tip of the tail, using a bright turquoise color. I also added a luminous halo on the ears, which adds a magical touch to the character.
Finally, I adjusted the last details of the background, making sure that the forest with tall grasses and trees complemented the grass raccoon without distracting from the main character. I wanted the whole scene to have a sense of cohesion and harmony, immersing the viewer in the natural world of the grass raccoon.
And so, after these steps, the digital drawing of the grass raccoon came to life. Each step was essential to build a piece that not only represented the character, but also captured its adorable and magical essence. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it!
Crear el dibujo digital del grass raccoon fue una experiencia muy gratificante, llena de detalles y creatividad. Quiero compartir con ustedes el proceso que seguí para dar vida a este adorable personaje.
Comencé con el boceto, que es siempre el primer paso fundamental. Tomé mi tableta gráfica y comencé a trazar líneas suaves y ligeras, buscando capturar la esencia del grass raccoon. Durante esta fase, es crucial enfocarse en las proporciones y en la pose del personaje. Opté por una pose que resaltara su ternura y carácter juguetón. Los grandes ojos y la esponjosa cola fueron elementos esenciales desde el principio.
Una vez que estuve satisfecha con el boceto, pasé al delineado. Aquí, afiné las líneas, haciéndolas más claras y definidas. Utilicé un pincel digital fino para los contornos y cuidé cada detalle, desde las orejas luminosas hasta la pequeña hoja en la cabeza. Esta etapa requiere precisión, ya que establece la base sobre la cual se aplicarán los colores y los efectos.
El siguiente paso fue el coloreado. Decidí emplear una paleta de verdes para el pelaje del grass raccoon, alternando entre tonos más oscuros y destellos de amarillo. Utilicé capas separadas para cada sección del personaje, lo que me permitió ajustar los colores sin afectar el resto del dibujo. El patrón de hojas en su cuerpo fue una parte divertida, agregando variaciones de verde para simular un aspecto vegetal.
Aplicar sombras y brillos fue la fase que realmente dio profundidad y vida al dibujo. Utilicé sombras suaves para crear volumen y destacar las formas del cuerpo, especialmente en las áreas donde la luz natural tocaría al personaje. Los brillos, por otro lado, se aplicaron en los ojos y en la punta de la cola, utilizando un color turquesa brillante. También añadí un halo luminoso en las orejas, que aporta un toque mágico al personaje.
Finalmente, ajusté los últimos detalles del fondo, asegurándome de que el bosque con altas hierbas y árboles complementara al grass raccoon sin distraer del personaje principal. Quería que la escena completa tuviera una sensación de cohesión y armonía, sumergiendo al espectador en el mundo natural del grass raccoon.
