Hello, everyone!!!
I hope you are well or are trying to be well. Today I want to talk about a game that was free on Steam in October last year, Cryptark.
I actually have a habit of collecting free games, and unfortunately, since Steam changed its exchange rate in Turkiye, there is not much content under the name of free games. Therefore, I wanted to play a game that I had already added to my library.
I hadn't played Cryptark before and I hadn't made an attempt to learn its story, so I started playing the game without jumping through the tutorial 🤣
You can watch the video of a part of the game I played here. For 20 minutes, I had a lot of fun, especially the fact that the map section was constantly visible in the lower left corner, which was a particular convenience for me. After destroying all the enemies that would attack me, I even looked at the map instead of looking at my character to find my way.
Even though the game takes place in the future, it reminded me of old-school games. There were times when I did hit-and-run and times when I went straight at my enemies and destroyed them. But the game progressed in stages. For the criminal I was after for the reward and the criminal I had to destroy, it was important that I first crash his security system. In this way, the ship would be powerless, and I would be able to move forward comfortably. For this, I had to destroy the core of the system first. Before the "core" system, I had to destroy its protection systems and do this job with the least damage.
With the Shield Generator System, I set out to destroy a system that I can't remember the name of right now. It wasn't actually that hard to eliminate the Sentry System bugs that got in my way. Or, since this was the first episode, it seemed pretty easy to me.
Although I say it was easy, sometimes people can be fooled by this ease and spend and spend. I can say that it was like that for me. Especially I spent my ammunition on very unnecessary things. This may cause trouble for me in the later parts of the game. But that's okay. Once you find a point of ammo refill and a point of life boost, you can use these devices many times as far as I understand. This is a great advantage. I can say that it was a feature that made playing the game enjoyable for me.
By the end of 20 minutes, I had done everything I could do in the first episode to leave the core intact. I must say that it was quite fun. Seeing the brain disappear piece by piece, even if it took a long time, was quite satisfying. Especially if you like this kind of games.
Final Review
I don't think it's worth the current price of $14.99. Definitely not. Maybe if it becomes free again in the future, I would definitely recommend adding it to your library. When you want to spend time without having to think too much, it will be a very fun way to spend time.
As I mentioned before, I had a lot of fun playing this game.
It was easy to play and not confusing, even for my sensitive eyes. But, again, it's definitely not worth $14.99.

Umarım iyisinizdir ya da iyi olmaya çalışıyorsunuzdur. Bugün sizinle birlikte geçen yıl Ekim ayında Steam üzerinde ücretsiz olan bir oyundan bahsetmek istiyorum. Cryptark.
Aslında ücretsiz oyunları biriktirmek gibi bir alışkanlığım var ve ne yazık ki Steam, Türkiye'deki kurunu değiştirdiğinden beri ücretsiz oyun adı altında çok fazla içerik olmuyor. Bu yüzden de daha önceden kütüphaneme eklediğim bir oyunu oynamak istedim.
Cryptark'ı daha önce oynamamıştım ve hikâyesini öğrenmek adına bir girişimde de bulunmamıştım. Bu yüzden çok bilmiş gibi tutorial kısmını atlamadan oyunu oynadım 🤣
Oyunun, oynadığım bir bölümünün videosunu buradan izleyebilirsiniz. 20 dakika boyunca oldukça eğlendim. Özellikle de harita kısmının sol alt köşede sürekli görünüyor oluşu ayrı bir kolaylıktı benim için. Hatta bana saldıracak olan bütün düşmanları yok ettikten sonra yolumu bulabilmek için karakterime bakmaktansa sadece haritaya baktığım dahi oldu.
Oyun her ne kadar gelecekte ilerlese dahi bana eski tip oyunları hatırlattı. Vur-kaç yaptığım da oldu, direkt düşmanlarımın üzerine giderek onları yok ettiğim de. Ama oyun aşamalı bir şekilde ilerliyordu. Ödül için peşine düştüğüm ve yok etmem gereken suçlu için ilk önce onun güvenlik sistemini çökertmem önemliydi. Gemi bu şekilde güçsüz kalacak ve bende rahat bir şekilde ilerleyebilecektim. Bunun için ilk önce sistemin çekirdeğini imha etmeliydim. "Çekirdek" sistemden önce ise onun koruma sistemlerini yok edip en az zararla bu işi halletmem gerekiyordu.
Kalkan Jeneratör Si̇stemi̇ ile birlikte şu anda adını hatırlayamadığım bir sistemi yok etmek için yola çıktım. Yoluma çıkan Nöbetçi Sistem böceklerini ortadan kaldırmak aslında o kadar da zor değildi. Ya da bu ilk bölüm olduğu için bana oldukça kolay geldi.
Her ne kadar kolaydı desem de bazen insan bu kolaylığa aldanıp har vurup harman savurabiliyor. Benim için de öyle oldu diyebilirim. Özellikle cephanemi çok gereksiz şeylere de harcadım. Oyunun ilerleyen bölümlerinde bu başıma bir bela açabilir. Ama olsun. Bir kere cehpane yenileme ve can yükleme noktası bulduğunuz zaman bu cihazları anladığım kadarıyla birçok kez kullanabiliyorsunuz. Bu büyük bir avantaj. Oyunu oynamayı benim adıma zevkli kılan bir özellik oldu diyebilirim.
20 dakikanın sonlarına doğru ise çekirdeği güzçsüz bırakacak, yapabileceğim her şeyi yapmaış oldum ilk bölüm içerisinde. Oldukça eğlenceli olduğunu söylemeliyim. Beynin parça parça yok olduğunu görmek, uzun zaman alsa dahi, oldukça tatmin ediciydi. Özellikle de bu tarz oyunları seviyorsanız.
Son Değerlendirme
Bence oyun şu anki fiyatı olan 14.99 USD'ye değmez. Kesinlikle hayır. Belki ileride tekrar ücretsiz olursa mutlaka kütüphanenize eklemenizi öneririm. Çok fazla düşünmeden, kaafa yormanıza gerek kalmadan vakit geçirmek istediğinizde oldukça eğlenceli bir yol olarak size seçenek olacaktır.
Daha önce de belirttiğim gibi ben bu oyunu oynarken oldukça eğlendim.
Benim hassas gözlerimi bile yormayan, oynaması oldukça rahat ve kafa karıştırmayan bir oyundu. Ama, tekrar ediyorum, kesinlikle 14.99 USD değerinde bir oyun değil.
