Awe yeah, Snow White and the ______ dwarfs. Halogens have _____ valance electrons. Wohh, solar system has 8, used to have 9 planets. Octet rule, found on the periodic table, and musical scales, which could be considered off when you factor in "sharps + flats" technically derivatives of the "main notes". . A week could have 8 days... just that the Sunday between them is like, shared between the expired week and the new week, beginning/end, synonymous. Lunch time on Sunday, A-sharp 🙂 Why not? Nobody would want Sunday to be the transition day, lol, that would stress them out 🙂 They be like, " Sunday is part of the "weekEND!"

Wait a second, what if, the 7 dwarfs were like a Halogen, and Snow White was the missing 8th electron? I ran it through Chat GPT a few times. Trying to make the perfect analogy between the Disney story and the rule of octet. Chemistry is apparently a little more complex than a 7 looking for a 1 to make a 8. She suggested, yeah my Chat GPT sounds like a she, that the wicked witch could be represented by a strong oxidizing agent that tries to take electrons. The prince really didn't have much of any potential representation, perhaps a strong anti-oxidant to get the oxidation agent out of the way? Tends to twist it into an ill story where Snow White is actually married to the Seven Dwarfs rather than the Prince. So, maybe I'll just leave that along. Unless people out there have further insights that could remedy this :)

Then, we had the pet theory that they dropped the planet status of Pluto in order to be more congruent with the rule of 8, make the solar system someone resemble a noble gas. Chat GPT wasn't having that theory. She was all like, " no no no, that wasn't the motive behind it."

BOOM!! @photonium returns after a 2 year hiatus. Very insightful!!

hah, thanks. Someone had to point out that Snow White maybe a bit more promiscuous than originally realized. :)
