And I gave my profile a complete overhaul. New avy, new cover, new name, new bio, new mission.

What's the mission?

Improve for no reason.

I'm tired of being clueless while the world zooms past. I thought, "I'll just do it for the heck of it."

it = stuff that is usually called self-improvement

Until now, I wasn't 100% sure I could put my mind into something. But this, doing it for no reason, I like. There's zero confusion and doubt, because I'm doing it for...no reason.

I think I can go somewhere doing this.

So that's what I'm gonna post on this blog. Finally, content. (pun intended)

How I'm gonna use tags

Only 1 tag, and it'll be what I'm currently doing.

So the first one is getting up at 4 am. Let's see what happens when I do it.

Why do this?

I've been at it since more than 2 years. But never was I able to get up at 4 am and keep it. I realized today that is so because I've no reason to get up. I don't care about anything – not the yogic practices I do (for which I initially started this drama about wanting to get up so early), not my career because I dunno what I wanna do in life, not anything. Whatever I choose to do, I'm dissatisfied with it. I drop it mid-way. Hence the 'no reason' part this time.

And it actually fired me up.

What I'm gonna do

Use Sleep Cycle app (and if it doesn't work well, the Sleep As Android app) and get up only after 6 hours of sleep at the 'light sleep phase'. Repeat, repeat, repeat and 4 am.

I'm giving it a new tag & throwing out the ol' upby4am.
