I bet you would definitely give this movie a watch if you are a fan of historic naval adventure as Peter Weir (Co-Screenwriter/Director) managed to put together this masterpiece with his top notch directing as he successful diluted the entire project on the antics of homicidal maniacs, terrorists, evil and evil aliens from another galaxy.
Personally, I think this movie is one of the finest movies you have got to watch if you aspire to become a sailor in your foreseeable future as it has everything you need to know and learn from, and also Russel Crowe was brilliant and great as in all his films, he portrayed the role of the captain charging his men to complete the mission sets out to accomplish and in process, endearing to his men as he commanded their respect, admiration, which makes it more interesting to watch.

An amazing storyline as well that will gets you on the edge of your seats and makes you not want to miss some electrifying scenes, and I must say this movie "Master and Commander" once again proved that the story-telling tale has been and will be one of the most impressive and beautiful members of the world film industry. No wonder the movie was awarded two 'Oscars' and was tied as early as 8 nominations, almost ahead of "Titanic."
Review: This movie actually gives us an immersive view of life at sea during the Napoleonic wars and I must say this is one of the finest movies ever made for it's genre, A superb acting by the cast and I must commend Peter weir for the brilliant directing.
