I can’t do it, not today - Actifit: September 25 2019

Every day for many many months I have been posting something, by golly. And I never do shit posts. Ever. No, if I’m going to write a post, by golly I am going to write something insightful, or at least meaningful, or if not meaningful then hopefully interesting. Or possibly funny. And I do that every single day, with passion for words and a love for the platform and for all the amazing people who take time out of their busy day to stop, read what I wrote, and upvote or comment or both. It makes it all worthwhile, doesn’t it? And the tags! All the lovely tags. On Sunday, you can post pictures of beauty in nature and tag it #SublimeSunday. Monday’s you can post #MonochromeMonday pictures; on Tuesday it’s #TreeTuesday, on Wednesday it’s WednesdayWalk, Thursday’s are for ThrowbackThursday posts, Friday is #MarketFriday, and Saturday is #BeerSaturday. What’s not to like?

But not today. I can’t. I am so bone weary that I just can’t do it. Nor can I make that final push to get to 10,000 steps in this condition. But I promise to return tomorrow with my razor sharp wit (ha ha ha) and fabulous commentary, or at least a picture of my dog.

I’m adding a picture but since I’m falling over asleep while writing this, and Actifit doesn’t show a preview, it’s kind of a crap shoot as to which image I accidentally chose! Thank you so much for humoring me.

Oh yes, it was a picture of my girls trying on silly hats!

COme on, it's normal to have those lows and it all depends on what you prefer doing. Skip or just roll with it. You still did it while saying you can't. It's the normal thing to happen in training for any sport, too. So, it's still good practice, no? Have a good day, take a good rest ;)
