Some people still argue to deny its existence but global warming is a reality. We have destroyed the environment of this planet to the dangerous level. I remember that the weather in my city was not so erratic 20-25 years ago. Now it is very hot in summers and very cold in winters. Sometimes, rain doesn't fall in time and when rainfall starts, it falls to such an extent that it doesn't stop for many days. One can see this weather pattern all over the world. This is the last week of September when rain usually get to recede in India but it is still raining here. Incidents of cloud burst have increased tremendously. This is a big problem but what solutions we have? Our scientists are thinking that carbon dioxide is our enemy but it is the building block of life. It is not our enemy. We are the enemy of this planet. What have we done to keep our population in control? Are we not burning forests and using them for mining? Which species is destroying all lifeforms on this planet? Certainly we are responsible for all these bad things.
We have to keep our population in control, check our greed, should redefine progress and development, and adopt a balanced life. There is no other alternative left for us.
