They have a pit bull named, Akamaru and he happens to be a very sweet boy, and he loves to cuddle!

Akamaru is a two-year-old pit bull who is the opposite of what most people picture as a typical pit bull. Akamaru’s favorite snuggle buddy is the family baby!

Justin Acuff, Akamaru’s owner, has shared the photos of his dog to help get people to understand that not all pit bulls have that killer instinct.

Dogs are trained that way by people who are careless and cruel. Justin’s family isn’t worried about Akamaru harming the baby because he says they have socialized him and trained him well.

Pit bulls have a large jaw and mouth, and that makes them desirable to people who operate dog fighting rings. To be a winning dog fighter – you need an aggressive dog.

Sadly, pit bulls have been used as fighting dogs for so long that many people believe they are naturally aggressive.

That they are somehow more dangerous than all the other breeds of dog. The fact is that pit bulls are trained to be mean and aggressive. They are not born naturally aggressive.

But the media coverage about pit bulls just reinforces the false and negative perception people have. Akamaru is more proof that pit bulls are loving and gentle. Share away, people!
