Resilience as a concept is used in many areas, not only humans.

Biological "areas" can be more or less resilient. This is btw. why every species counts - the more are killed, the less resilient an ecosystem is.

Architects even talk about buildings in terms of resilience sometimes - storms, earthquakes or other heavy forces.

For a single human, to be resilient, you need to know yourself. Look into yourself, see what you are feeling and what your body tells you.
If nothing else this will tell you when you are in panic (hopefully before you do a bad decision) and when you should stop eating (to not get fat).

I agree with you @lennstar. Knowing yourself and properly understanding what your body tells you can't be de-emphasized.
