RE: ADSactly Psychology - Resilience

in #adsactly6 years ago

Agreed. If you are not resilient, you set yourself up for failure. My father, who was a very wise man, once said that when God takes away something, it is because He has something better in mind. These words stuck with me, and helped me to be resilient every time I faced difficulty in my life. His words proved true, every time. My husband and I have been through financial hardships, marital problems, unemployment throughout our adult lives. We stuck with each other through thick and thin. Currently, we have financial troubles again, but as my husband says: "We have been through it all before, we can do it again". Yes, we worry, but we are resilient, and we will again get back to where we were before, and thrive even more.

Thanks for your post.

I liked this: It's hope, resilience, perseverance. It's believing everything would be fine. It's staying positive. Thanks for sharing your experience @minnaloushe.
