Ahonex.com is a new site that allows Splinterlands players to auction off their cards. Auctions are great because they let you know the exact price the market will bear for your card. You don't have to guess too high and never sell the card or guess too low and not capture the maximum value. You get to know how much someone is willing to pay for your card because of the auction itself.

Splinterlands is a trading card game that's been played billions of times and been around since 2018. It's been going strong for 7 years, which in crypto years is 7000 years old.
Splinterlands accumulates cards in their inventory over time. Sometimes it's giveaway material. Sometimes it's airdrops. Sometimes it's marketing packs left over from an edition. Splinterlands typically doesn't sell these things on the market and instead gives them away through raffles, tournaments, and various forms of interaction.
Splinterlands has an account, @otik, which has a fair number of cards and some of these cards will be slowly sold cards on https://ahonex.com. Every card sold will earn DEC for the @otik account and this DEC will be transferred every so often to the DAO.
This helps ahonex.com get started as an auction house with lots of cards that can be auctioned. This helps the Splinterlands DAO by providing a source of revenue.
