The most deadly predator of the ice age: Cave Lion

This cave is a subspecies of lion tiger which became extinct approximately 12,400 years ago. It was one of the largest subspecies of a lion, which was ever lived. Scientists here believe that it was ten percent larger than modern lions. It is often depicted in cave paintings such as some type of collar flower and possibly stripes.

This scientific name of Cave Lion is Panthera Spelaea. It cave Lion is an extinct Panthera species that developed less than 600,000 years ago in Europe after the third Comorian Interglacial Stage in Europe. In 1985, Germany's Siegsdorf saw this skeleton of an adult male. This Cave Lion was 7-8 feet tall and weighing 700-800 pounds.
