TL;DW: I enjoyed some of the jokes more and I felt the episode had better pacing, but the episode felt like it was rehashing points that had already been explained in the first episode, and the dialogue is still very hit and miss. The characters speak authentically yet the joke being told is very repetitious- that joke being that the MC is straightforward in almost all situations. And usually he's admitting that he has lewd thoughts. Furthermore the rules of the reality in the narrative are pushing these two characters together that feels artificial to me. Even when the dialogue does work, the show doesn't feel like it's elevated above older works in the same genre, Oregairu being a recent example.
