Apocalyptic Scenario of Earth in 2125
The sun sets over a barren and lifeless horizon. The Earth's average temperature has surpassed 60°C (140°F), with some regions reaching 100°C (212°F) during the day. The once vast and blue oceans have drastically receded, leaving behind salt deserts and the ruins of former coastal cities.
The air is thick with dust and pollutants, making it difficult to breathe without filtration masks. The tropical rainforests have vanished, turning into dry, cracked wastelands where nothing grows. The Amazon, once the lungs of the world, has become a barren desert.
Rain is scarce and acidic, and when it falls, it devastates what little vegetation remains. Lakes and rivers have dried up, forcing the few survivors to dig deep wells in search of contaminated underground water. Without drinkable water, millions have perished, and the remnants of civilization fight over every last drop.
Wild animals, unable to adapt to this hellish new world, have gone extinct. The sky, once blue and filled with white clouds, is now an orange-red hue, covered by a thick layer of smoke and pollution, blocking parts of the sunlight. Ultraviolet radiation has reached lethal levels due to the complete destruction of the ozone layer.
Amid the chaos, ruined megacities are controlled by gangs and corporations that hold the last remaining resources. Those who try to live peacefully hide in underground caves, seeking refuge from the unbearable heat of the surface.
Without drastic changes now, this could be Earth's fate. But there is still time to act. The future depends on the choices made today.
