Of course, if we take it by par principle, the app should offer no less than of what other apps (e.g. Instagram) offer to their users. We are pushing this suggestion because the app feels a bit encumbered and need a bit of tweaking, but we also understand that development requires resources, so it is all about finding the things that are needed the most and move on from there.
We also can not emphasis enough on the importance of finding the right method to curate genuine authors, this problem has greatly affected the steem blockchain with no real solution at sight. We can imagine how this problem will take hold after going public (spam, abuse), hence, we think actions should be taken before going public. A way to verify users (artists …) in the future could be very helpful with such a problem.
The other thing is onboarding people, we believe this is the most important thing that we as a community should focus on beside development. Even though the project is really great and offers something special, we still believe that people will abort the idea of starting a journey here if they find it difficult to open an account. An onboarding initiative could help a lot with such an issue.
