Some of you are probably already aware that everyone now can try communities, it’s ...

... an implementation that will allow a Reddit-like community on the STEEM blockchain. If you are interested, you can try and create a new community simply by heading to beta.steemit.com/beta.steemitwallet and create/see your community. Everyone can create a community with as low as 3 STEEM, the amount was of course set that low to ease the process for new users to create new communities.

We are speaking about communities because we really think that Appics can benefit from this new feature. Communities offer a free and excellent system of filtration, a system that could cost a lot if implemented and hosted off-chain. Such a system can also be very helpful in case a verification system is implemented. If we consider everything, Appics in right now in a good position. The project Voice which its beta is planned for launch next year on February 14th (Road to Beta Update), will probably cause high pressure on the current social projects that are built on the STEEM blockchain or other blockchains as well

We can already see that many big projects have shut down recently because the competition is fierce, and the resources needed for survival are far more important than income. In the other hand, Appics is playing on a ground that is yet to be discovered and used by many projects, hence, we are really pleased to see that the POs are doing their best to make this project a novelty and not just a random project that is just set to take profit from the tide of the crypto revolution.

Thank you,
More to come,
