I recently colored this page from Karen Sue Chen's "Life of the Wild."

It's a cute and whimsical book. The art style isn't overly complex but leaves a lot of room for imagination. You can find this book on Amazon.

I used gel pens, fineliners, and some markers. No the moths and butterflies aren't "realistic", as my fiance quickly pointed out but, that's the fun of it. Somewhere those colored winged insects exist. :)

Throughout my life, I've encountered people who do not like moths. They think they're hairy and ugly. Like, really?? To them I say, "ever seen a luna moth?"

I have and they're spectacular and stunning. Have you ever seen one and do you think "moths are gross?"

I hope you've enjoyed this little blog and my coloring. Take care and leave a comment if so inclined.

I try to celebrate every single life form on this planet as they play a part in the wheel of life. I like moths and I like bats even more. They tend to think that moths are quite a tasty treat, mouth watering really!

I think bats are cool, just there whole disease carrying thing. Circle of life, yeah they'll eat moths. There's really very few members of the animal kingdom

Beautiful.

Thanks they were fun to color
