I doodled

in #art7 years ago (edited)

Sometimes I doodle flowers, other times I doodle the moon, today I doodled this stripey cat holding onto a balloon!

What a fun game & thank you to @opheliafu for the doodle challenge (https://steemit.com/doodleon/@opheliafu/come-and-play-doodle-doodledayeo) where you draw what comes to mind when you think Cat, Mouse & Balloon.

And to @carlgnash for telling me about it & encouraging me. & Scanning it in for me :)

& yep, it's on a cardboard bit that I cut out of a box when making a cardboard cabin & it has a top-secret to-do list on the other side :)

Dear, you can become an illustrator here. Nice work.

That is such a nice compliment :) thank you very much!

Gosh i want to see that top secret list... the suspense is too much :D
Thanks for playing the game!

I think @sunravelme somehow got a peek!! ;D

i love doodle art, i do this kind of art while i am sitting in class listening to boring lecture.... honestly i can not doodle any other time

I doodled this under the light on my stove as fast as I could expecting 2 babies to wake up any second :)

You obviously already crossed "being awesome" off your to do list. This is so fun!

Wow! I'm impressed with your clairvoyance! You must have known it was still sitting in my scanner?

adorable! upvote and follow! i got some art in my page too :D check it out :D

I definitely will; thanks!

A cat's jaw has only up and down motion; it does not have any lateral, side to side motion, like dogs and humans.

What if they are holding their head sideways?

Cats take between 20-40 breaths per minute.

Ugh. I'm the kind of person who has to go disturb her cat to see if that is true... be back in about a minute with my findings...

In an average year, cat owners in the United States spend over $2 billion on cat food.

While it is commonly thought that the ancient Egyptians were the first to domesticate cats, the oldest known pet cat was recently found in a 9,500-year-old grave on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. This grave predates early Egyptian art depicting cats by 4,000 years or more.

I'm pretty sure cats domesticated us long before that...

It may take as long as 2 weeks for a kitten to be able to hear well. Their eyes usually open between 7 and 10 days, but sometimes it happens in as little as 2 days.

Yeah, but how long does it take them to hear smell?

Of all the species of cats, the domestic cat is the only species able to hold its tail vertically while walking. All species of wild cats hold their tail horizontally or tucked between their legs while walking.
