Looks just like me, right? I made this by photocopying my face & taking an eraser, pen & markers to it.
My mom had asked me to illustrate a book for her about bullying & I thought it'd be cool to have stick figures holding up these masks with different expressions on them to show that we can be a bully or bullied but are all the same, really; just people holding up their facades...
She wanted something more like cute bears or rabbits or something and the project never went anywhere.
But here's this!

I forgot about the bully book project! You left out the best parts of that story though... but she is your mom so I will leave it up to you if you want to tell the reasons behind the bully book and what it was intended for. Great bully mask though! I love this one :)

STOPWow! I love how you came up with this Image, it's a really cool technique. I have played with photo copied images in collage and installation pieces but it never occurred to me to paint or draw on them. It really is quite unique. I hope to see more of your awesome art works. thanks for sharing!
