Here some render test of a digital sculpture created in Zbrush with the insert mesh technique
and rendered in Cinema 4d with Octane Render,a very fast GPU render engine
with a wonderful quality.I love how the light is diffuse through the scene.

to mange the vastness of the 3d world..And other lives would be necessary :)

Wonderful achievement!Thank you.

Hey @francescomai thank you sharing this unusual sculpture, with modern software program that makes some of human dreams true. The complexity of sculpture with its fine detailed patterns and very small tubular pipes, brings my memories of "Predator" with his alien suit. The shine makes it associate with metallic nature too. Wonderful art :)

Cheers from Art-supporting blog @art-venture

Good morning @art-venture
you are right,in these years software but especially hardware became more and more powerful and also cheaper to buy.Few years ago is was almost impossible to render at that quality except waiting for some looong nights. The merit is the incredible speed of GPU render like Octane Render but also Red Shift render,a new generation of rendering engine.
Thank you for your words.

Damn looks hyper realistic 😀👍 fantastic digital art job. How long does this masterpiece need to render,? I bet a couple of hours.... or even days? By the way, I like the lights also 👌

Yes @avizor
Thanks for your post.
Maybe you don't believe me but with Octane Render and a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 it took less than 8 minutes at 2160x2360...Really incredible!

That’s insane fast.😀👍 unbelievable how fast nowadays graphic cards are 🔥

Nice work.

Hello @godblessall
Thank you so much.

This is incredible. It is so spectacular that I feel that I love each of its parts, I love your work. You can take a look at your previous works and they are wonderful. A big hug @francescomai !!

Hello @naideth

@francescomai, It so amazing it looks real. If you didn't mention this was a digital art. I thought this would be an actual sculpture. You are right about the light. I love it as well. This really an amazing work and the art itself tell it all. This was your first digital sculpture? Do you have other to share with us? I start to become your fan already. In final word, this was an fantastic and amazing master piece.

Good morning @oliviackl
Thanks for your post!Of course that I have more and more of digital sculpture.
If you take a look at my post you can find other.I am on Steemit only from few week but I will post the newer digital sculptures as soon as possible.

Gosh, you really talented @francescomai, I gone to your side and discovered your amazing digital art work. It amazing, i especially love the "Stele upside down" and "Torn and bridge in the sea with sky". The background color complement the 3D very well. You average spend how many days for 1 piece of art? Your digital 3D skill really good. Post more of your work in steemit.

@ oliviackl I was sure that you appreciate also other artworks.
Concerning the "speed"it depend..One day usually is enough but there is need for a whole life to mange the boundless world of creativity with 3d.

I am speechless. This is so amazing. I really don't know what to say but i can tell you that this is beautiful. Your use of light portrayed its character just right. I really wish i had a sculpture just like this.

Good morning @cheekah
I am gland that you like this artwork..I have just post another one whit a similar style.Take a look at my blog.I hope you love also the new one.

Wow, the art zone is really growing with beautiful structure. This art is amazing

Good morning dear @shemzy Sorry for the delay but as you know there were some problems with the new update of Steemit and I can'not post anything until now!

Thank you for you post!I am glad that you like my artworks..More and more are coming!

Hi Francesco!

I remember a Power Ranger helmet or the enemies helmet. There's a similarity I guess.

In your profile, you're a 3D artist. Have you tried printing on 3D objects?
3D printers are quite expensive right?

Hello @ronel and thank you so much for you kind comment!
In fact the is some similarity with Transformer and Power Ranger world!
But maybe all cyber mech helmet are quite similar :)
Concerning the 3d print in these weeks I will print something in resin and the paint is with some special paint to simulate iron, steel or bronze.Maybe I can try something completely transparent. When ready I will post the results on Steemit! The price is quite expensive but is possible to achieve incredible results. It possible also to print in gold and titanium but also silver and glass!
Keep in touch and thank you again.

Oh that's great!

I remember I bought a tutorial 3D eBook several months ago but I did not actually finish reading, maybe just some few paragraphs.
And I forgot which folder did I download it here in my laptop lol

You have also to study your book :)
Practice is important but study too!

Oh yeah you're right.
A theory without application is some kinda useless thing I guess.
Its like having faith with no action on living the faith is also absurd as well in my opinion.

The digital sculpture looks beautifully, scarily real @francescomai! It does have a predator vibe to it. I love the metalic parts against the matte. What will you be using it for?

For now I want to improve my skill for modeling with Zbrush and rendering withOctane render.
Maybe a 3d print could be very interesting..Especially if you can wear it!

Ooo it is! I have seen 3d prints and they are really cool. Though the printer or the printing service will be expensive? You will probably need to snip off some parts where it joins when it prints but it will be so cool!!

Hello dear @marblely .Sorry for the delay answering you.
First of all thank you for your post!
The 3d print process is quite expensive especially if you want to print metal such as steel or bronze or brass. And of course is depends from the size of the sculpture.Keep in mind that is possible print also in titanium, gold and glass!
