The past is something that takes all our thoughts into knowing what to do in the present to evaluate the outcome of the future

It is true that there can be so much distractions that takes all our plans which can be frustrating but it takes only a disciplined planning to achieve it.
Planning can be in the unconscious state or conscious state which will be explained below.
UNCONSCIOUS STATE.

This can be in the form of having your progress on basis without knowing how you ended up doing it. Like when a baby learns how to walk, it is unconscious because there is a will that gives the baby to keep moving until the baby starts progressing foward being upright. Also , when you end up know a particular phrase that your relatives or friends say.
All this are unconscious due to the will of it being gotten unvconsciously which leads to the future progress of learning how to walk or knowing when someone wants to say something in the future or any other of your particular understanding which can be very interesting to you.
CONSCIOUS STATE

This is when you know what you want and you end up putting attention to it till you get a result.
The progress is seen by the individual involved in it and it can be very progressive when the will and passion is added with discipline in it.

In general, when planning for something it is always conscious but there is always something unvonscious that is learnt which is an added progress to what we plan for ,like when you plan to be very fast in running there is always an unconscious progress of having the a fine muscile built unconsciously without you noticing until you see the pictures .It is applied to every stage of planning and when we tend to be truthful to what we plan we become better for the progress of our future.
