Hello again !
I have been enjoying my Saturday and I hope you have too.
I've spent most of my day making painted papers for my collage art. I made some last night too. I still had some papers, but it was time for some fresh choices. Actually, I meant to plan to make some next weekend with the gel plate, but last night I began to make some without the plate, what I thought would mostly be just a variety of solid colors for contrasts in some of my collages. Once I got started though, I didn't seem to want to quit. I've done them in "sessions"... or something like that where I chose some colors, made various papers with those colors and put each paper behind me to dry till I filled up everything I could reach. THEN, I would take those to the top of the washer & dryer where I had a vinyl table cloth and put them there to dry out further. After, I would choose new colors and start all over again.
I did a few last night and when I got up this morning, I started again, because it was fun and I wanted too.

After noon, the mail was delivered and some new stencils I ordered 11 days ago were finally delivered by the post office. You would have thought they were shipped from China or something, but no, just halfway across the states. It looked like they stayed in one place about 5 days, leading me to believe they had lost them. Finally they showed up again on the tracking in another state, that was not really on-the-way. Good old Post Office !
Anyway, once I got notice they were delivered, I had to get dressed and put on shoes to go get them from my mailbox across the street. That is how they treat us since we are outside the city limits, all the mailboxes have to be on the same side of the road, no matter which side your house is on. 🙄 Since I was going outside anyway, I gathered up the trash and took that to the bins as well. Although I had not been using stencils before (I have a bajillion of them) .....of course I had to try out the new ones. That is why some of them have color on them below. They were all nice and clean and white when they got here.
Using stencils slowed the paper making process down, but it was still lots of fun. Sorry about two animations in a row, but that was the way the story goes.

This evening, I was finished with my 6th session and this is how my desk looked.

I was hungry and it was generally supper time and I had not eaten anything today. I decided I wanted a pizza, so I went online and ordered one. When I put in the order, I put the instructions to leave on the front porch on the chair and ring the bell when leaving. Half hour later, the delivery guy showed up at my BACK door and rang the bell till I came to the door. D'oh! I told my sister on messenger later that it seemed delivery people couldn't read anymore. I also told her he deserved what he saw for not following instructions. LOL!
The pizza was hot and good, so I'm not really complaining too much.

So far, I have quite the pile of papers ready to be torn up. That just doesn't sound quite right, does it? Paint them up and tear them apart.

Since I decided not to do any chores today. (That doesn't sound right either, does it???) I think I will take a shower and wash my hair and then go back to my art table for the evening. I don't know if I will make more papers or attempt to make a collage or two. Guess I'll decided once I get there.
Right now, I'm too full of pizza to decide. 😄

I LOVE colorful paints!
I should have enough papers for a while I suppose, but that may not stop me from making more.
Thank for stopping over!
