Hey! How about all people? On this occasion I am extremely excited to bring you this illustration.

In it we wanted to represent the spontaneity and the Venezuelan feeling, thus depicting a boy drinking his favorite drink, the Polar beer, hence the title of the illustration.

• The illustration was done in two phases, traditional and digital, using the traditional pencil and marker, and for digital, Adobe Photoshop.

As a first step I started making sketches in pencil, after having the final, I proceeded to make a lineart with marker. Then scan it and edit the contrast of the image.

Then digitally, I started with the base color of the whole illustration, keeping all warm and cold at the same time. I also put a layer of base color in the different elements of the illustration, then with an opaque violet tone, I decided to make the first layer of shadow.

Then I gave a second layer of darker shade, and added color to the missing elements, so I proceeded to make the illuminations, using a bright yellow color and only slightly delineating the edge where the light entered in the illustration.
