Today's art class is all about Claude Monet and his unique fascination about water lillies. He was a well known Impressionist painter.
My daughter painted an interpretation of Claude Monet's Japanese Bridge as part of the requirements for her art subject. Her painting is made with acrylic paint on canvas.
First she drew the bridge outline and painted the greenery around it.
Next, she painted the dark green river over which the bridge rests.
Then she put in details such as yellow flowers on the riverbed and waterlilles with pink flowers under the bridge. A path runs on the right side in white.
Finally she painted on the bridge a little touch of white and green to accentuate the bridge outline.
What do you think about her artwork? We hope it helped you get de-stressed as it did us!
