~ Digital painting for my mom // ORIGINAL WORK //

This one I painted for my mother.

To understand why, you need to know that I don't live with my parents for five years. I live with my grandmother in the house next door because while I was a teenager I couldn't get along with my father and that was the decision made one day, when I wanted to leave home and go backpacking...into the unknown...

Knowing me back then, wild and reckless, that couldn't end up good, so I'm glade we made that compromise...

Leaving that house, even just to go to live to the house next door really did improve my relationship with my father, but now my mom and I didn't see each other so much. I used to be the voice of common sense in her head when I lived with my parents, but now she couldn't find her piece.

I gave this to her, for her last birthday and wrote a letter... I told her that now I'm always present in that house and that with this digital painting (that I framed and gave to her) my spirit is always present in that home and is spreading the message of joy and peace.

Here are some parts of the painting magnified....

I drew myself wearing my AiKiDo practice clothes because that's when I'm the calmer and can spread love easily.

Now my relationship with my father (whom now I call dad :D) is excellent! We enjoy making creative stuff together (as he is into woodworking) and both have enough time and space for ourselves. My mom and I started taking Yoga classes together and that connected us even more. She is now happier and calmer then ever :)

My grandmother rocks! We share her kitchen and bathroom and I have one big room just for myself...well my boyfriend @crokangaroo started living with me after few weeks that we started dating...so we've got another family member in the house now :)
