Scribbled portrait
This morning I'm sharing a portrait of a girl drawn using a graphic tablet in a quick scribbled style. Blocks of colour and tone have been added as layers to provide added contrast.
The process
I like the loose style created using the graphic tablet and drawing pen, it's a great technique for quickly sketching out ideas. I think it is an interesting tool to use for portraits, usually I begin all my portraits as a a pencil sketch so this was a change for me.

I like how even a simple sketch conveys the emotions. I can feel some sort of sadness expressed in her eyes. Thanks!

It looks great even as a sketch. That red semicircle ad a nice accent and attract attention.
I'm rather in to my red circles at the moment - it has been a continuous theme in my work recently :D

I admire the way you make a simple drawing become a great creation. You paint in a way that makes it look very easy when you know that painting is not, it must come from the heart and that is what you show in your paintings.

You have only just joined Steemit (welcome)- you are doing well so far, and your tags look fine to me. When I started on Steemit I hardly got any votes if at all, it takes a while to build up a following. Join in with lots of challenges and contests and comment on other peoples posts! I would recommend a few action shots of you working with your username displayed (does not have to be facial shots - could be close-up pictures of the process of making the work), this will help reassure people that it is your own work.
