Una vez realizado el bosquejo con las figuras geométricas tal como se muestra en el ejemplo de arriba, procedí a realizar el boceto base de mi dibujo hasta que quedara lo suficientemente conforme con todas las líneas. Ya realizado el boceto procedí a calcarlo en una hoja blanca para que el dibujo quedara más limpio, ya que algo que suele pasarme mucho es que afinco demasiado el lápiz y aun borrando las líneas que no me gusten, al momento de pasar color queda el espacio en blanco de esas zonas donde afinque demasiado el lápiz a pesar de que ya no este la línea, por eso siempre suelo calcar mis bocetos base en una hoja mas limpia antes de aplicar color.

Once the sketch was made with the geometric figures as shown in the example above, I proceeded to make the base sketch of my drawing until it was sufficiently satisfied with all the lines. Once the sketch was done, I proceeded to trace it on a white sheet so that the drawing would be cleaner, since something that usually happens to me is that I sharpen the pencil too much and even erasing the lines that I do not like, when I pass color the space remains blank in those areas where I sharpened the pencil too much despite the fact that the line is no longer there, that's why I always trace my base sketches on a cleaner sheet before applying color.

Una vez que tengo el boceto final comienzo a aplicar color por zonas de colores, principalmente empecé con los colores amarillo y naranja; comencé a aplicar capas suaves de color amarillo en la zona del cabello de Finn, luego apliqué más capas con un color amarillo un poquito más fuerte hasta darle un poco de volumen y fuerza al cabello.

Once I have the final sketch I begin to apply color by color areas, I mainly started with yellow and orange colors; I started by applying light layers of yellow to Finn's hair area, then layered more with a slightly stronger yellow color to give the hair a bit of volume and strength.

Luego de tener todas las capas de color amarillo en el cabello de Finn y Fionna, procedí a aplicar capas mas fuertes de pequeños toques de color naranja para darle un poco mas de volumen a ciertas zonas, y con el color blanco hice las líneas de brillo del cabello. Luego repetí los mismos pasos con el cuerpo de Jake.

After having all the layers of yellow color in Finn and Fionna's hair, I proceeded to apply stronger layers of small touches of orange to give a little more volume to certain areas, and with the white color I made the lines of shine hair related. I then repeated the same steps with Jake's body.

El siguiente paso que realicé fue aplicar capas fuertes de color negro en la zona de los ojos y nariz de Jake, y varias capas de color Bronce sobre el cuerpo de Cake. Una vez aplicadas las capas de color, procedí a usar el Lápiz B para demarcar las sombras en los cuerpos de ambos animales.

The next step I took was to apply heavy coats of Black around Jake's eye and nose area, and several coats of Bronze over Cake's body. Once the color layers were applied, I proceeded to use Pencil B to outline the shadows on the bodies of both animals.

El próximo paso que realicé fue el de aplicar capas verdes claras con el color manzana, y con el color verde realicé capas mas fuertes en las zonas del bolso de Finn y Fionna. Luego para la ropa usé varias tonalidades de azul para darle volumen. Por último procedí a darle sombras a los gorros con el Lápiz B.

The next step I did was to apply light green layers with the apple color, and with the green color I made stronger layers in the areas of Finn and Fionna's bag. Then for the clothes I used several shades of blue to give it volume. Finally I proceeded to give shadows to the caps with Pencil B.

En el siguiente paso apliqué varias capas suaves de color beige y color durazno para generar la tonalidad de piel de Finn y Fionna, empezando por la pierna del primero.

In the next step I applied several light coats of beige and peach to create Finn and Fionna's skin tone, starting with Finn's leg.

Para esta fase del dibujo procedí a aplicar capas de diversas tonalidades de azul en el área de los ojos de ambos niños, además de aplicar el color rojo en las bocas y mejillas de Finn y Cake. Para ir finalizando opté por remarcar algunos contornos y detalles de las caras con un rapidógrafo negro de 0.5mm.

For this phase of the drawing I proceeded to apply layers of various shades of blue to the eye area of ​​both children, as well as applying red to the mouths and cheeks of Finn and Cake. To finish, I chose to highlight some contours and details of the faces with a 0.5mm black rapidograph.

Por último, para darle el toque final y resaltar un poco más los personajes, apliqué el color púrpura para rodear el contorno de los personajes.

Finally, to give it the final touch and highlight the characters a bit more, I applied the purple color to surround the outline of the characters.
