BREVE INTRODUCCION / SMALL INTRODUCTION
Hello dear community! excuse my absence. Today I bring you the coloring process of two Gothika characters, Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, but I'm sure many of you are wondering: What is Gothika? Well, we are going to explain them before starting with the drawing.
Contrary to what many may believe, Gothika is neither an anime nor a manga (nor does it have anything to do with the 2003 film starring Halle Berry, Robert Downey Jr. and Penélope Cruz). Actually, it is a Sound History, that is, a CD that tells a story through several songs; this CD contains 10 songs sung by the Japanese singer Yura Hatsuki, where she tells a version of the classic story that is a little darker than we could imagine.
I came across this story years ago browsing the internet and the truth is that it caught my attention, since the characters and the development of events throughout the songs make you want to know more about the story. Unfortunately there is not much information about it but at the end of the post I will leave you these links where they explain the narrative a little more in depth.

Procedimiento
To begin with, I always sketch with circles the space that each part of the character would occupy to try to make them as well proportioned as possible, this time I forgot to take a photo of that process but in the next drawings I will be more aware of including them. Following this step, I proceed to outline the outline with the HB pencil and trace it on a separate sheet to start applying color.
I proceeded to apply the Pink color with little pressure on the hair to make a first soft layer of color, then I repeated the same procedure with the Magenta color.
Once I had the first layers of base color on Little Red Riding Hood's hair, I proceeded to apply a darker layer of Magenta, applying more pressure.
Then with the Orange color I created a soft layer for the bow, and on top of this I applied several layers of Crimson Red.
Once with the hair and the bow ready, I proceeded to apply some soft layers of Beige to the skin of the girl, then I applied black and magenta to areas of the face and suit.
Again, I used the Orange color to create a soft layer on the dress, and then layered stronger tones with the Crimson color.
Finally, to finish coloring the Little Red Riding Hood, I proceeded to use the yellow color for the little bell on the dress, the pink and magenta color for the ears, and I used light blue for the beads of sweat around the girl.
For the little wolf I began to color the clothes with the color Black, apply several layers starting with a light pressure and then apply a stronger pressure and make a darker and more uniform tone.
I then applied red for the mouth and pink for the ears. I then proceeded to use the silver color to softly layer the wolf's hair and outfit. In turn use the color blue for the eyes.
To finish, I applied the yellow color along with a little shadow with the HB pencil on the wolf's skin, to give it a more opaque tone. I applied the shadows of the body in general with the HB pencil and the B pencil. And finally I used the 2B pencil to highlight the outline of the entire drawing.
