King of the Jungle

in #art7 years ago

Good evening my friend wherever you are, maybe tonight I want to try to post something different from my previous post.

Tonight I would love to make a work related to my zodiac that is "LION". So tonight I will make a sketch of a lion of the king of the woods using a pencil.

Than I talk a lot and explain it better I direct I started it. I will show step by step with a little explanation about the image, hopefully it can be useful and hopefully the readers are happy with my post.

In the first picture shows some of my fixtures to draw where I need:

  • Pencil 2B
  • Mechanical pencil
  • Eraser
  • Pencil sharpener
  • A4 paper
  • Paper pad

At this step I chose to describe the eye of the lion, because I think it is in this section that makes us easier in drawing as a whole. But many also start from other parts of the eye, it's just that I always start from this part.

image

After the eyes are slightly formed, here I try to make the eyes of the lion look more perfect.

image

In this third picture, the work has reached 15%, I started working on the part of the feather on the lion's face. There are so many feathers on the head and the lion's body, because that's what makes the lion so scary and elegant.

image

I am still very difficult in to describe parts such as lion hair, hair on humans, because in this section we must be really careful and careful. If this section gets bad results then overall our image will be not look good.

I still have a lot to learn in this section, and tonight I again failed to get a satisfactory result. But I keep the spirit to learn, learn, and learn.

After I finish the eyes, head, and ears of this lion. Now in this picture I start drawing on the nose and mouth, and finally the lion is almost perfect. This stage has reached 80% to 100%.

image

Look at friends, here the picture is 95% done, the lion has looked very fierce and looks so elegant. The lion has a very high calm and also has a very deadly attack power. But I think in this picture, in part of the feathers the lion still looks very bad in my view.

image

And finally my picture is finished 100%. In this picture I made the lion more visible by making the shading of the pencil softer. Here I use a tissue to give effect that makes the picture more value.

For the readers, I am very grateful to all of you for visiting this unhelpful post, and thank you for supporting me and my knowledge through the criticism and suggestions you have written in the commentary room.

Hopefully you all happy on this post and hopefully get the appropriate appreciation for your hard work and effort. We will continue to meet on other occasions.
