Hi @revelationart. The artwork has to be posted on Steemit before any other social media sites like FB or Instagram. I'm not clear with the curie rules for artwork, but I will tag @randomwanderings on here who is a Curator. He could help answer any questions you may have.
Curie is a community that support authors and artists that invest time in writing quality content. Many of us are small and our upvote support to you might be $0.01 or slightly more from some more established steemians. An upvote from curie could be in the range of $30+. Their support encourage newbies to continue sharing their work with others here on Steemit.
