RE: Stage 1 of 4: Emperor Egg – Mayan 5-Point Perspective Drawing Progress

This is an incredible piece @vincentfink! I just did a recap of your whole blog, you know you’re good when @cheetah hits your very first release—congratulations! I checked out the original article of your art work at that art festival cheetah referred to—impressive!

I don’t know why this piece isn’t gaining more traction but it’s awesome! Please continue doing what you’re doing—I’ll be keeping an eye out for you.

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I want to post more, but ya know it's hard to manage so many social medias and the ones that get more response are the ones I use more, even though I think steemit is way cooler!

I'm still getting the hang of it though, and trying to figure out why about the traction too.

If you read this reply, I'd love to know how you found me. Was it the #Artzone hastag? It seems like when I use that more people tend to see it vs. the #art hashtag or other more specific hashtags. Which is something I'm still trying to understand as well... seems like there's certain insider tags and tricks that help visibility a lot.

Again, thank you!

You got it with the insider tricks! It does take a while. Artzone is a good tag to use! You end up getting more response here after chatting witj others and consistent posting. Oh and yeah.. Steem is WAYY cooler!!!

Of course I read my replies dude! Eh, my pleasure @vincentfink, I’m glad I found you. Yes, it was the #artzone tag that got my attention. Keep using it, it makes it easier for one of us to find you.

So you wanna know what I think huh? “Ok.”

About the other social media things, this is my first and only social media experience, I’ve never done any of the other ones. My wife has Instagram, but that’s it, that’s the closest I’ve been to them and she doesn’t even look at hers.

About the hash tags, you kind of want to stick to the listed tags, the common ones that the audience looks at, #art, #artzone, #drawing, just like you used, that’s cool. When you use dtube instead of YouTube, use #dtube, otherwise your tags look fine to me, no such thing as “insider tags.”

About your traction, I’ll just be real with you. You’ve been on the platform two years and released 24 articles—1 article per month. You are your own traction. <— repeat. I know people who post 7 times a week, once a day and have been since they started, roughly 1 year of hard work and they began gaining traction.

It takes dedication—this platform isn’t going to hand anyone anything but they’re generous to contributors. I’ll keep an eye out for you, @vincentfink, it’s a pleasure to be met.

I appreciate you taking the time for such an in-depth response. I will definitely use the advice and post more. I do think there is quite a learning curve to this platform as oppose to others but I'm seeing that there is a good audience on here, I just need to be more consistent. I will try harder!

You really helped me out with the repost. I've never gotten this kind of reaction and it's all thanks to you! Thank you. The pleasure it mine.

I’m glad I found you @vincentfink. You deserve every bit of that reward—congratulations!

Keep using that #artzone tag and I’ll keep finding you. 👍🏿
