WikiLeaks Releases Statement About Assange's Ill-Health; Was He Tortured with Psychotropic Drugs?

Little reported in the mainstream media, is the state of Julian Assange's health. As of yesterday, there were minor mentions of Assange's health in passing as some media focused on how he won't be extradited just yet to Sweden for charges of alleged rape.

Alternative media started to pick up on the poor condition of health that Assange is in. Eventually WikiLeaks released an official statement about their founder who has seen better days.

WikiLeaks has grave concerns about the state of health of our publisher, Julian Assange, who has been moved to the health ward of Belmarsh prison. - See full statement:

Assange has been moved to the prison hospital. WikiLeaks reiterates the past tribulations Assange has suffered at the hands of the UK who refused to comply with UN human rights rulings to let Assange go free. Further, the last year's isolation at the embassy at the behest of US powers readying the extradition, made things worse for his condition.

Assange's health deteriorated further while in prison for 7 weeks. He has lost a lot of weight and lawyer Per Samuelson says "it was not possible to conduct a normal conversation with him". Sweden has refused to postpone the hearing for the alleged rape scheduled for June 3rd.

The 18 charges by the US for publishing goverment secrets is the first case of indicting a publisher under the archaic 1917 Espionage Act. Kristinn Hrafson, WikiLeaks editor-in-chief calls on the world to stop this travesty of justice:

"Julians case is of major historic signficiance. It will be remembered as the worst attack on press freedom in our lifetime. The People need to voice their condemnation; it is their politicians, their courts, their police, their prisons that are being abused in order to leave this black statin on history. Pease act now to avert this shame."

This news about Assange's poor health and inability to functionally communicate reminds me of the claims about Assange being tortured with psychotropic drugs that I posted about 3 weeks ago.

Karen Kwiatkowski, a retired USAF lieutenant colonel, farmer and aspiring anarcho-capitalist who ran for Congress in Virginia's 6th district in 2012, is claiming that Assange is undergoing "interviews" and "treatment" while in captivity at Belmarsh maximum security prison. The "treatment" is the same as suspected terrorists while in captivity of the British there.

Kwiatkowski says the DoD, FBI and the CIA have agents sent to Belmarsh prison to "interview" Assange, prior to his extradition to the U.S. She says Assange is being "treated" with 3-quinuclidinyl benzilate, known as BZ.

Kwiatkowski writes that her sources in the UK say:

“[Julian Assange] is presently under close observation in prison hospital because he has suffered ‘severe transient psychotic episodes.’ My source(s) indicate these episodes occurred after two sessions of coercive interrogation at the hands of UK and US officials. The source(s) stated the HUMINT interrogators used psychotropic drugs in the course of the sessions.”

At the time, many dismissed this claim. One commenter said "Hear say from unknown sources is just that: hearsay. I don't believe a word of it". Well, it looks like this may have been true all along. This makes more sense to me for his seriously degraded mental condition, as opposed to simply having been confined to a room and then to prison.

What is true in all this, I don't know, but Assange is in bad shape. He may no lnoger be the man he once was if these drug torture is true. If they can't destroy his life by getting him in jail, it looks like the authorities destroyed him psychologically and physically to this point. I hope his condition is reversible, but it doesn't look good.
