Please first read facelikethesun's post on Thanos and Infinity War
This all appears accurate, or at least an insightful take on either spiritual, or researched influence of the MU and MCU.
It's no secret that MCU and Marvel in general have no interest in telling truth, but rather comic fiction. This comic fiction always tends to be based on the darker things of this world.. Real fallen, real demons, etc.. Darkness. In certain points of view, this is spiritual programming.
Now, there are Christian writers within the Marvel Universe who have made it their goal to provide a Jesus allegory (similar to Aslan).. some have failed, some have done ok (nothing holds a candle to Jesus).
That said, ... The Infinity War is an OLD marvel story.
(POTENTIAL SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS of future MCU releases)..

In the comic version of the story arc, Thanos wipes out half of all life due to his love for Mistress Death (about as demon based as is gets)..
Thanos subconsciously can not handle the omnipotent power of the Gauntlet and allows himself to be beaten when he merges himself with Eternity (a cosmic being).
His "granddaughter" (in the comics) Nebula is able to gain control of the gauntlet and brings back all the life that was wiped out by Thanos. ... (A Jesus allegory?)... mmmmm.. Well, maybe, maybe not. (Thanos made Nebula an undead looking shell of herself before she was able to grab the gauntlet and change reality.)
Enter one of Marvel's first LUCIFER allegories....
ADAM WARLOCK.
Adam Warlock, a being connected to the Soul Stone and possibly exists outside of our "reality" is the one planning and leading the good guys.
They attacked Thanos (unsuccessfully) with many heroes falling in the process.. Adam Warlock leads the way to retrieve the I.G. from Nebula. He actually calls on Thanos to help with the process (a non-omnipotent, yet still powerful Thanos).
In the end.. Adam Warlock wears the Infinity Gauntlet. And reigns for a time as an omnipotent being...
until The Living Tribunal (an omnipresent being) intervenes.
Who the MCU will choose to give this Gauntlet to, IDK.
I'm wondering if Captain Marvel will wear it, If Gamora will wear it, or if a resurrected Dr. Strange will wear it.
My point in all of this is (at the time of writing)
................ Adam Warlock was a Lucifer allegory.
This 'worthy" and noble Guardian able to wield power justly.. Just like the Luciferian doctrine being falsely taught by so many Kaballists, Gnostics, Ascension theorists, etc..
I'm very curious how the MCU guys are going to handle the next movie because that will set the real tone for whatever their agenda might be. .............
Just to add a tiny bit to this, there are plenty of Marvel characters named after characteristics and names of God AND based on fallen Watchers, Hosts, Etc....
There's even a character named Lucifer, The Morning Star with almost omnipotent power.
Characters based on names of God, based on fallen Watchers, Hosts, Etc..
One Above All (both a celestial host and "creator of all life"),
Eternity,
Uatu and The Watchers,
Mistress Love, Sire Hate, Eon, Ziran, Kronos, Stranger, Master Order, Lord Chaos, ... and on and on.
Want to delve further into possible theology in the Marvel Universe.. Look up the God Killer armor, Tony Stark, and the reign of Man over Gods.
Great analysis from both facelikethesun and yourself. And yet (too) many people will neither see, nor believe that there is any connection to anything biblical because they think that everything is fiction.
In my lifetime, people have turned away from the church and switched their faith from God to science. This lack of support, based on the Word is leaving us all vulnerable to the deceit and lies being thrown at us from all directions.
I'm not a big "everything is demonic" guy, but blatant story framing is blatant framing. I'm entertained by certain comics, but I see them for what they are. Everything not of Jesus can be a potential vessel. I also believe God works through non-christians... without them even knowing it. Unfortunately in the comic book world Marvel has been dropping morality and injecting agenda far more since the Disney purchase. http://thefederalist.com/2017/04/12/forcing-political-correctness-employees-characters-killing-marvel-comics/ There are no more Christian writers in the company (that I'm aware of). Marvels animated movies are humdrum dreck at the moment.... So are their Comics. They've done a phenomenal job at story-weaving their Cinematic Universe, .. and I think It's HARD AS ALL GET OUT to make a movie about an omnipotent power and not have him resemble YHWH. ... To me.. the real tragedy is.. Are they going to go with a Jesus allegory in Avengers 4 or go with a Lucifer allegory? I think they will abandon the "celestials" story line and go with a story where the avengers from other timelines (where Thanos didn't destroy half of the world) show up and kick Thanos' rear via quantum zone and time manipulation. If One person ends up wielding the Infinity Gauntlet at the end of the movie, i fear it will be a Lucifer allegory. I don't think Disney has ANY interest in making a Jesus allegory as (in their mind) they already have their Narnia property (they barely do anything with). It's always possibly that comics are hard to write and the writers believe they need to pull off of "ancient mythology" for inspiration.... But I fear it's a mixture.. Mythology inspiration..... spiritual influence ..... and Disney agenda. I'm very curious to see where they will take Avengers 4.
