Do The Mario

It was a sunny afternoon, driving down the street past the grand Imperial City with my wife, I looked out of the drivers window, I saw a whole bunch of children gathered, it seemed like a magical portal suddenly appeared before me, I couldn't believe my eyes, it was Super Mario, without hesitation I slammed on the brakes and pulled over to see what was happening.
Mario stood there before all of the children with his trademark red cap and blue overalls and a warm smile.
All of the children eyes were opened wide with glee, wondering where Luigi, Princess Peach and Yoshi were. Mario couldn't responded with words, he just pointed at things.
The children thought that he was pointing towards some sort of Mushroom Kingdom. the children's thoughts flowed freely, their stream of conciousness intertwining with the magical world around them. They thought they were going to go on some sort of adventure, mastering the art of jumping on platforms collecting coins, solving puzzles and discovering secret passages, in attempt of looking for Luigi and others.
But little did the children know Mario was just handing out coupons for a place called Wise Guys Inc, the food there looks great.

I didn't stick around there too long, the wife and I still had to buy some groceries, so I hopped back in my car.
The shopping went great, we bought a whole bunch of food.
After I took the wife home, I decided I would go for a walk downtown and maybee go to the river and go check out some shops.
I stepped out to the bustling streets of downtown, my senses were overwhelmed by the sounds and the vibrant energy in the air, but something felt off, as I made my way through the labyrinth of towering buildings, my eyes scanned the familiar corners, I figured it out the tent city is gone out of the park, it was a place were a lot of people sought refuge, because the rent is too high.
How could an entire community disappear overnight? Hopefully it was a sudden act of charity, not something far more sinister, you just never know with our current government.
As I got towards the river, I decided that it was too windy and I didn't go down there, I stopped in a coffee chop for a cup of joe.

After that I went to that store where I bought some incense not that long ago and bought some more of that Divine Power incense.
They gave me a fortune for the day there as well, it said "Plant seeds of happiness, success, hope and love and it will come back to you in abundance" I thought it was pretty neat, even though it didn't come with a little cookie.
