Hey guys (@buttpacker)! No worries, we have been casually posting pretty much since mid-July. Not so much on our old schedule anymore as other priorities in life took over. Hope your travels around the world has been what you'd hope it would be!
We are in Vietnam for a holiday/long visa run for Becca as it will be her last for awhile. She's heading back to Portugal as she managed to score a job there (one that she wants to be a part of). Sam will be joining her in Europe/London (at least) in the new year to ensure the long distance thing isn't too long distance (it would have been Thailand to Portugal...).
Yes, we are amazed that the selection of beer is quite extensive as Thailand only has the "big 3" with a few smaller craft beers coming about. Here, it's regional plus craft. Don't have the stomach for it all, but will try as much as we can! 😊

Damn life priorities! Oh yes they were wonderful, and of course I'm getting the damn travel blues now - especially when I'm going through my content. How I miss those days on the road! Hopefully I can get back on it soon...
Oh wow, no way! Are you guys sad to come back to Europe? Or will it be a nice little breather for the time being? Yeah Portugal - Thailand would've been a little bit tough! And if you're back in London that will be cool! That's where we are :3
I dunno why, but all I drank in Vietnam was fucking desperados 😂 I guess it's cuz that was what my friends kept buying. But tbh, beer all tastes the same to me! And then I also got food poisoning in Vietnam... worst days of my life!
Mixed feelings about leaving Asia as we love it, but work opportunities in a field of work that we want to do is more difficult to find in Asia rather than in Europe. Asia will always be there as a fall back option as teaching English for £10 an hour in Thailand is a very steady income or just come back for holidays.
It will be London for a 3rd stint for Sam, but its a city always in his heart.
Desperados... Ah, don't know whether to love it or hate it... Prefer Corona if given the two. Ah, need to take you to a craft beer places and try a selection of beers as they don't all taste the same 😜
Ah that sucks you got food poisoning in Vietnam. It happened to Sam in Cambodia... Real bad that he had to go to hospital when he got back to Thailand... Some kind of salmonella / unknown virus. So far so good over here (touch wood)!
