Driving along a dirt road to a campground when I noticed a shape in front of me.
Drove straight past it in the other lane then pulled over to get this shot:
My 1st Barred Owl
It was probably eating some pebbles to aid with digestion after an evening meal. Barred Owls are usually nocturnal so this was a treat!
