10 cents a week for high ads? That’s 40 cents a month. $5 a year. Er… I pay YouTube $10 a month to avoid ads. I literally blacklist news sites with too many ads. It’s great that you’re enjoying this, but the payoff is way too low for me. In fact, I’d pay $5 for a plug-in that removes all ads for me.

Yes I understand the quick math but there’s still a ton of benefits.
I wouldn’t expect to make a significant income from viewing ads ever but I live the free value back. And the value is in Bitcoin so who knows how much that could end up USD? 🤷🏾♂️
And this is the first week with no referrals too. And I haven’t earned anything from viewers on twitch yet either so that might increase the weekly payout as well.
These ads are more of the embed google type ads though. They don’t play in your videos so it’s really easy to forget that they’re there a lot of times really.
But yeah this is just one tool in my lightning network things that I’m trying that goes to my wallet, so it’ll add up over time with the other projects as as well, just takes time.
