Gov't is run by big money or what I call shareholders (mainly too few control most - like a dozen people). These big money folks need computational trust so they can retain their wealth as they don't trust each other. They will override gov't crack downs as they occur and after some thinking watching and studying and then yes trust will win the day - computational trust, bitcoin.
