SUMMARY
This coin is quite unique! First, both the LBC/USD and LBC/BTC have very similar charts. Second, the LBC/USD is leading the price direction and so can easily be used as a leading indicator for LBC/BTC. Third, the double Cup & Handle formation is quite bullish. It's a twofer! Double the bullish indication and such patterns add confidence to the probability call. Remember that Technical Analysis is nothing more than identifying as many possibilities, narrowing it down to a handful of probabilities and selecting the primary future price pathway. Simple...but not easy. I've toiled, experimented, failed and learned many lessons since 1997. After five years, I thought I was good; after 10 years, I thought I was great...alas, I've learned that even after 20+ years of experience, I'm yet only still improving.
The below chart displays the double Cup & Handle pattern and from a short term perspective, $1.47 is expected to be hit as part of wave 1. Bear in mind that bull sentiment knows no boundaries and this could easily be plowed through. The $2.78 should also be hit as part of wave 3 which most often goes up most violently! Then, wave 5 is expected to generate $3.58. These values are all interrelated via native, indigenous Fibonacci values, a method I've developed and used by none else. My Top Secret Sauce!
The below chart is that of LBC/BTC. Look how it lags the LBC/USD pair! It's a beaut! The second Cup & Handle is still half formed but by using the LBC/USD pair as a guide, we can expect LBC/BTC to follow in pursuit! The very short term target still remains 0.000408 BTC.

Just a friendly note: 300% does indeed sound good at first, but one should also take note of the time frame. This isn't a knock against you or haejin, but I'm pretty sure I could fall asleep on my keyboard, buy 5 random coins and wake up with 300% gain by 2019 - which is where haejin's target is at.
If anything, you could almost read this as a DO NOT BUY warning if you're interested in higher returns. Honestly, I appreciate these posts as much as the ones I feel are 'good investments' because it let's me know what coins I'd rather steer clear of.
What you mean by "Do not buy warning"?
Only that I'm interested in higher risk/reward coins atm. If haejin's analysis and my own line up in saying there's about a 3x potential in the time frame of around a year, based on my personal goals I'll look to coins other than LBRY for the time being that are potentially more rewarding in a shorter time span.
I'm only interested in picking from the top 150 coins or so. That number is small enough that eliminating the "wrong" ones (for me, based on my goals) can be as useful to me as choosing the "right" ones.
Put much more simply, 300% in 12 months is 25% per month. If I can find a coin that I believe will go up faster than 25% in a month, I'd rather put my money there.
Haejin did not mention a time frame but I assume you are looking at his chart and presuming he is saying it will take until 2019 for this to occur. That's not how this works and you would know that if you had been listening to him more carefully. Expect this current target hit within weeks or months not years.
I am a new follower. Reading his tutorials and order the book. st the moment still confused on what the X axis shows. I get it does not line up to time. I think someone said each block equals a day, but not sure if that’s is right. how does one interpret theX axis? Thank you
If haejin predicts that coin X is going to go up 300% in the next month vs coin Y is going to go up 300% in the next year, I'm going to go with coin X.
I don't get mad if X takes 2 months and Y only takes 6 months. None of this is 100% accurate. I'm going with, as haejin would say, the probabilities. If you think the X axis on all his charts is 100% arbitrary... well then good luck to you, but I'm gonna stick with my view for now.
TA is not reliable for discerning a timeframe, so he is eyeballing it with that target. With how crazy the market has been, I would not be surprised if it reached it within a week or two. You can see this with spreadcoin -- his projection had it rising in april 2018, but it's already a 5x.

Please do a long term wave analysis on DGB (Digibyte).
Promising and opportune as other suggestions made which showed profit. Will need to do my due diligence, but from technical overview it should bump up and have the indicated uptrend. There are many choices over there, is like fishing in the sea, so if somebody shows you a good spot we should listen to him. Risk needs to be considered although.

You cannot use past results to predict future outcomes, this is not your standard stable equities market. Cryptocurrency prices do their own thing regardless of the demand or supply, things just happen. So I disagree that just because we've had some spikes in 2017, we're going to see these multiplied in the future.
Invest in something you believe in, in something that can make a difference. Otherwise you are just betting, in which case reading some analysis is the exact same as picking a coin just because you like it's name (Sia - cause I like the singer).
Do you trade the stock market the same way with elliot waves? What are the differences you see between this and the stock market. You mentioned cryptos have extended 5th waves typically. Do you do any blog posts on stock price? I am so curious to see how you approach it and what the major differences are.
