SUMMARY
I had recommended NXT when it was $0.08 with a target of $0.24 which was clearly well exceeded! Look, if you're gonna be wrong, it's better to be wrong on the upside! LOL!
The below chart is a larger degree of trend wave perspective (notice how I don't say a longer term). The wave iii contained an extended 5th subwave and this is what's causing such a deep retrace for wave iv. However, this correction too shall end and since the bull run has more to go, the wave v is expected to make orgasmic lunges towards $3.73 or much higher!
The below is that of the NXT/BTC pair which is lagging the NXT/USD pair. This is one of the reason what its price explosion wasn't as big as NXT/USD. Note the double bottom and the Elliott Waves show how these fit into the count. The target is 0.000316 BTC,
Here is NXT/PLC and the Jaws of Wealth Broadening pattern is uncanny! It's currently correcting and likely will be attracted towards the bottom line before lunging upwards to touch once again the top line. The price residence at that point could be $11,793.

Hopefully it will rise again. Most of the whales are out now. So I think the price will go up but not so fast as it was before. But everything can happen in the future. I think personaly it will be a crypto year. Doesn't really matters what you buy, all the prices will go up =D
I also don't think NXT will rise anymore. The airdrop has caused the price pump and now it will stabilise.
News and events don't move the price. Price moves the news and events.

Jesus christ @randowhale, don't you think that the reason why haejin gets so many upvotes is because of people enjoying his content? I do agree that he might be making too much money, but Isn't this the wrong approach? Silencing everyone who comments? You are just taking away from the little steemians and not from @haejin! It basically does the opposite of what you are trying to do!
How can he be making "too much money"? Whatever money he makes is based strictly from how his audience values the content he produces. Isn't that how it's supposed to work in a properly functioning marketplace?

To be honest, if you had recommended any cryptocurrency or token, you would had been right, and I think it will continue to be like this for years to come. A great time to be alive :)
History would tell us we should expect a massive crash at some point. Past stats showed when marketcap got to 1000% overvalued we are now at around 500% (I think)
It only takes some governamental negative news of some sort, and we will go back in time lol. At least for a short period.

Flag campaign from haters. People were exploiting the payout system of steemit, haejin came, made some useful posts, people from twitter/youtube came here to follow him, and he took a huge parts of the payout of the exploiters. Now they use their bots to downvote haejin's posts and even his followers (that brought a lot of money on steemit that would not be there if not for haejin, but it seems the haters are not smart enough to understand such thing).

I don't heed fundamentals or news or events. Just price. Elliott Waves states that news and events shall arrive to justify the forecast. Once fundamentals are co-mingled with price analysis, contamination occurs and accuracy suffers.
I did some more digging after seeing your initial post. I know you are not interested in the fundamentals but for anyone who is... NXT will still have some uses going forward, the example given in the video below at the 18min mark says a good use case for it in the future will be a crowd funding ico platform. So maybe there is still some value here!

EOS: not sure if we have a failure on the ascending right triangle or just a bullish piercing. If it's a failure, we could also have a head and shoulders top with a downside target around $2.25, although we now appear to be above the neckline. My guess is it goes the same direction as BTC, which I think will be up, although I am showing the downside price pathway in this chart.
If you deny the flash crash it make sense even if this correction seems too fast and little. Could also be a 5-triangle-5 that could bring the price down (or a 5-3-5 like @cannonball6 showed on his chart of course, my principal in this case). Better ladder here (wait for the d and e to do it) or wait for a strong buying signal with a higher high (correction will be done for sure in that case :-) ).
its also possible that the deep correction is done in that flash crash ?

Mate, you need to work on your chart pattern recognition. Not a Head and Shoulders and even if it was the volume would negate it. Get hold of the book haejin recommends as a late xmas present to yourself

He can't know how much and when it will go exactly, just estimate a target.
I think the point of haejin is giving us his analysis to teaches us how he does what he does. Look at his tutorials, buy and reads the books (elliot waves/stock trends analysis) and learn to make TA by yourself. Then you'll know when to go in/out. And if you just follow his advice and get in/out when he says so you will make profit anyway.

I was in MCO for about two weeks (the 12th to the 23rd). Sold for a 8.5% profit, at around the current levels (0.001104 to 0.001117).
Wanted higher gains, but got out so I could get into something else.
The other ones trading @haejin's strategies have been 44.3% (LTC), 51.5% (XRP), 22.8% (BTS), 46.9% (ADA), 7.2% (LTC), 8.5% (MCO, above), -4.9% (ADA, impatient; it'd be a double if I held to today, another week; oh well!), and 11% (ZRX). Note that I'm not in fiat; the goal of these trades was to increase my BTC.
The one loss I took was also so I could get into something else, a form of FOMO I suppose.
I'm now experiencing another form of FOMO -- I'm having difficulty reading the books because I want to stay in the action! :) I think that's a good problem to have, actually.

I hodl some MCO, it's starting a big uptrend imo, I think it can easily reach 250000 in the next months (maybe just in a few weeks) and even way much higher in the long term. Just my opinion as an amateur trader :-)

Aside from pro and cons for NXT, I think this is a great post relating to the technical analysis using Elliott Wave, I've heard about Elliott for some time and just started to dig deeper for it. While I still struggle with..... "hmm this is 1, and this 2, and next is 3.. no no, this one is 3. so next is supposed to be here, if it here then 5 should be here. nope must be here", you showed a whole lot different level of vision. damn! salute to you @haejin!

There too many currencies in circulation so often times, it had to know which one will rise faster. I going to get more involved with crypto currency in 2018. Thanks for the heads up, what other currency do you think have good prospects?
I'm a believer in this project, was going to sell but I think it's worth holding onto. It's been around for years and I think people are looking for ethereum alternatives that actually perform (unlike ethereum). Not saying you can't make money off ethereum fyi, just my 2 satoshis.
