Satoshi Nakamoto is an anonymous entity, like the currency he invented. He is also well knowned as the one who designed and Created bitcoin but unfortunately the name Satoshi Nakamoto is the name use by a person or people who designed and invented bitcoin in other words it's just an alias use by the real Creator. Satoshi's identity and location is completely a mystery he first came out and became known when he first introduced Bitcoin currency in 2009 and communicated with the first users via email never in phone or in person. Even after the rise of Bitcoin, he remained working in the shadows and then just completely disappeared in 2011.
In year 2014, Newsweek an American Newsmagazine had published a story claiming to have discovered Satoshi's real identity, "They stated that Satoshi was an unemployed engineer in his sixties living in a Los Angeles Suburb". But those involved in Bitcoin Denied and made it clear that he is not Satoshi. There are rumors in many Bitcoin community that they believe Satoshi is actually an American of Hungarian descent who prefers solitude named Nick Szabo. However, these were denied by Szabo himself that he is Satoshi, although he still remains one the top key figure of Bitcoin.
We haven't heard anything from the Famous Satoshi since 2011, so his presence doesn't matter now at the grand scheme of things. But despite all that there are still theories about his identity, Curiosity must be quench. In May 2016, there is an Australian Businessman claimed to be Satoshi named Craig Wright but skeptics immediately doubt that is not the real Satoshi if the Creator would really wished to be known, there would be no doubt as to his identity. Whether Mr. Wright claim is believe it doesn't matter either way as Bitcoin will go on with or without him. Whatever the people claiming to be, the fact that Satoshi Nakamoto has already stop particapating and through the years bitcoin has grown and changed so much since he left. This is the last message we have heard from the real Satoshi in 2011. "I haved moved on to other things." Nonetheless Satoshi has left us with millions of bitcoin that could be worth millions of dollars as of today.

Satoshi Nakamoto´s identity does not matter in the scheme of things of Bitcoin itself, but the person himself does matter in Bitcoin. Considering Satoshi is estimated to own between 1 to 1.5 million Bitcoins. This give him enormous power. All he would have to is dump all those Bitcoins onto the market and the price would crash. If he continues to hold onto them and Bitcoin becomes more established and accepted and thus its value escalating, then he will most certainly be the worlds richest man. He matters alright.
The problem though is that he doesn't participate in his currency anymore. Maybe you're right but who knows what would he actually do.
Satoshi knows he has more power by being anonymous. It adds a mystery and a mystical element to the currency and that helps belief or even faith. Satoshi cant be judged if we dont know who he is. We all know the people who created the other other Alt coins ans as such we can check their background and judge their character. However good or bad we think we are we all judge, we cant help it. We even judge someone in seconds from seeing their face. Without knowing what Satoshi looks like it forces us to imagine what he looks like and we will always create one that we favor. This is very powerful and is one of the contributing factors as to why most of those who have been suggested as being the real Satoshi, such as Craig Wright, were quickly rejected. In spite of the fact that Wrights intelligence and character did not fit, I could hear people saying "thats not what he looks like". Even though Gavin Anderson himself is convinced that Craig Wright is Satoshi it seems the roes of the world does not.
Such is the power that we do not want to know.
This is one of the reasons why the Islamic faith has a powerful hold over its followers. It is forbidden for them to create or even think about what Mohamed looked like. In the same way I believe this has also helped Bitcoin have an almost religious hold over its followers.
Either Satoshi is dead, or he is in hiding. If he is dead, then his 1.5 million Bitcoins are lost forever and will make no difference on the price but his name will then only continue to grow with mysticism thus adding more faith to the crypto-currency. If he is still alive and is waiting for the right time to appear then God know what cold happen. But it will be a world stopping moment for sure if he releases all those Bitcoins. Thanks for responding.
