I think it should be quite obvious by now that BitConnect is a scam. The only question is how many days will it be before the site simply stops working and all functionality disappears along with the investments of the bagholders.
First of all, there are no "trading bots" and there is no actual interest return. What revolutionary trading robots could make such fantastic returns?? Has BitConnect figured out a way to not only beat the market, but to completely dominate it in such a way that you can triple your money in a matter of a few months? Why isn't this technology grabbing headlines all over the world?
Why Indeed?
Because everyone involved knows deep down that there are no bots, and there is no trading. The 'interest return' is coming from the inflow of new money, which is encouraged by unduly high referral rewards. When the flow of new money slows down, the pyramid will invert and topple over leaving the late adopters with heavy losses.
Yes early adopters can make money - if they can get their money out before the collapse. But the only people really guaranteed to make out like bandits (literally) are the arseholes who created the website. And yes, a shitty website is really all there is to this. There is no retreat in Thailand, and if there is you will likely lose your organs if you actually go.
