I've been holding these babies since the race to blockout. It was the wild west of the early ordinals days and I got swept up into it. I ended up inscribing about twenty of them in that time, with my limited BTC resources.
Of those twenty, I've sold a bunch, I hooked one up to #BitmapValley and also #Bitworld, AND I've scored a few grails. A few of which I've now got listed on Magic Eden.
First one is one of my favorites. It will be hard to part with it for a price under 0.01. It was part of my "^^^" minting fury which included another one on my grail list.

Another one of my personal favorites is this beauty. Little did we know at the time what the ecosystem would dream up but..... bitmap punks. Unisat made minting bitmaps really easy and My goal when i inscribed this one was the first numbers of the Fibonacci sequence, It yielded a block with such personality and also my second most rarest Bitmap according to Bitmap Community https://bitmap.community, which is a great resource for all things #Bitmap.
The ones that would be considered grails by most are the following two. The rarest of all my Bitmaps is this one. It's a beautiful punk ALmost Borg... But it's also a pretty sweet Palindrome.
Last on the list of grails was one of my "OH SHIT" moments when i realised I better mint something lo number. Things were minting out fast at this point. Blockout was approaching and there were few interesting sub-100K blocks left. It was interesting because of the "666" connection and also 3-6-9 harmonics.
I was pleased it was a single transaction and also to discover that it was a #patoshi block, meaning it was likely mined my #Satoshi themselves. Grail of epic proportions IMO even if the rarity chart has it placed so low...

The use case for bitmaps as a protocol is still in its really early stages of being figured out. As web3 grows and becomes more common in peoples lives, we will see much development. #metaverse is a buzzword now but is a growing movement and may one day be the primary way we interact with the world, both socially and economically. IMO, It's worthwhile to be holding at least one to secure a piece of real estate in this game.
