Steem and bitshares have big potential but I am inviting you to check: POSW- STAKENET.
There is one good project for a privacy coin with a big potential for revaluation which will start seeing the light next month after a coin swap due a fork from PIVX.
It's POSW now, future STAKENET with masternodes, cold storage, it's supported by Ledger Nano S and it will give a service to stake other POS coins.. I could be huge!

I expect EOS to be over 100 (at least) by the end of the year. BitShares kinda depends on how fast things go, but could easily be 5+. And Steem depends a lot on how SMTs will turn out.
Yes, I agree. 2018 is the year of DEX's. However, the project that is able to deliver faster, will have a better chance to benefit from the opportunity.
Well, I think it is more complicated than that. I think the success of steem depends on so many factors including SMTs.
EOS and Cardano- my favourite duet
I agree with you on EOS. But I am not sure about Cardano. I have to see them deliver more than promises.
I find bitshares (official) wallet a bit confusing. Online/Local accounts, this slightly put me off the coin.
Yes, I agree with you that the UI/UX needs more work. Yet, I think it has come a long way, and if DEX's are the trend of 2018 as many are proposing, then BTS has an advantage.
