Exactly, once our friends and family do at least a couple of transfers between wallets, dex's and/or cex's, they'll be hooked. I try to teach both sides of the coin to my friends, the transparency coins like Hive and Bitshares, and the Privacy coins like Monero and Pirate. Diversify a little bit into not just different coins, but different protocols too. Censors be damned. Oh, and #fuKYC :)
