We live in the era of technology where data plays a crucial role. However, the requirements for data storage capacity are also needed, and the requirement is increasing from day to day. Not everyone has the resources to provide such a big storage space, which leads to them having to rent from other parties. Unfortunately, when they rent from other parties, which are mostly the big players in the industry, they have to spend a fortune. That’s why Module is created because it is designed to empower ordinary people to offer the service.
The Current Issues
When it comes to managing data and the storage space, there are some issues that we have currently:
- This sector is dominated by the big names in the industry. Since they have the capitals, which lead to them having the resources and abilities, they are able to cater to the needs of abundance data storage capacity – something that small providers can’t offer.
- There is enough data storage space but it is available in fragments. In most cases, individuals generally have the remaining storage space in their devices. But they are coming in fragments and parts – not the whole space. This can be a problem if there isn’t a solid management that handles it all.
- Individual users with their own devices have the remaining unused storage space. And yet they don’t know how to make use of it to the maximum potential.
In an overall retrospect, here is the picture: Businesses often need a lot of space for their operation. However, if they are renting from the big providers, they have to spend a lot of money. Not all businesses have the money to do such a thing. In the meanwhile, individual users may have the extra storage space that they don’t need. In general, mobile users have 32 GB of space but they often only use a half of it. As the result, they have the remaining extra 16 GB that goes unused.
What if the solutions to these problems can be combined together? That’s the main reason why Module is created. Module is a platform that connects individuals and businesses together. The main purpose is to provide a data space for rent. Individuals having the extra space can offer the unused space to businesses. Businesses can make use of the offer and use the space for their needs without having to spend a fortune. In the end, individuals can generate income from providing the space while businesses can rent the space with the inexpensive spending.
Module and Is Operation
MODL is the main currency that is used for unlocking the access in Module. Only those with MODL currency can get the access and service. Besides acting as the currency, MODL can also be used for investment. You can buy the tokens during the ICO period, while the price is at the lowest, and save it for investment. If everything runs smoothly, you can expect the value to increase during launching. And if the platform is getting more popular, the value may skyrocket – which will result in the higher profit from your investment.
Storage space will become a bigger and bigger problem as move into the data age. Glad to see some solutions being worked on.
Thanks for introducing this project.
