RE: Mini CONTEST: How AI supported by growing blockchain technology can change the world?

in #blockchain7 years ago (edited)

@crypto.piotr - LOL, It's ironic how I just posted about an AI cryptocurrency project! So, I think it's apt that I use my example of my latest article on SingularityNET.

This project is trying to create Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) which is AI on the level of human intelligence which has to pass the Turing Test. Today, we have ANIs - which are Artificial Narrow Intelligences. These can be thought of singular or siloed algorithms which perform a specific role and operate in the domain of that role very well. Examples of ANIs would be the algorithms used in Self Driving Cars, Quant Hedge Funds, Facebook Targeted Advertising, NSA Profiling & Advanced Robotics (Such as the ones in automotive factories).

However, like I said before, these are siloed algorithms which have a singular purpose and are inflexible by design. They are also designed by corporations for a specific purpose for two reasons - it is easier to make a siloed ANI & it helps them automate a certain role (ie - replace a human with an algo). Now, SingularityNET wants to build an intercommunicable blockchain where different people can buy and sell AI services and where people and institutions can source their AI code using the AGI cryptocurrency as the currency or reward. They also want to make a blockchain where AI can communicate and learn from each other. The technical, coding & mathematics details are quite complex and I go into a higher level abstract in my post, but the purpose of this is to ultimately create an AGI or a brain consisting of different AIs which is an open-sourced, decentralized AI which is very powerful and which can lead us to the Singularity. This can actually change the world because, it will have AI that is able to compute and actually process information, adapt to new environments just as the human brain does, except with exponentially less computational limits or errors.

Since the AGI would be decentralized, it would allow all humans with computational resources ( a smartphone or a PC, etc. to access the abundance of information or knowledge. And you know what they say, knowledge is power 😉

Cheers!

Indeed it is very ironic! :) Gonna read your post in a moment.

Thank you for this rich and amazing and kind comment. I read it quickly and I will have to re-read it calmly before bet time :)
Hell of a great piece of work here.

Yours, Piotr

@daddyku
Most of all: thank you for your support during my little contest :)

Im constantly trying to figure out how could I improve visual parts of my articles and at the same time Im coming with new ideas to "how can I build more engagement with my followers".

Let me show you what I came up with and perhaps you could share your thoughts with me.
Please check any of those 2 new posts that I uploaded today:

"100degree Steemitup talk in Penang" - another Steemit event in Penang/Malaysia, 27-28th April. MUST VISIT!

#DeleteFacebook tag is very popular lately. New trend? Are you ready for such a DRASTIC step ...

If you scroll down then you will notice that Im trying to promote few posts created by authors Im trying to support. Does it look okey? Or is it messy?

In the future you can send me a link to any post that you created and if it's a good quality article, related to crypto, blockchain or AI then I will help to support it (by commenting, resteeming or mentioning in my posts).

My strategy may not get me anywhere, but I believe that only working with others and supporting each other can help me reach my goals.

Tell me what do you think :)

Cheers, Piotr

And drop me an email one day:
[email protected]

let's keep in touch buddy :)

@crypto.piotr
I would love to stay in touch, Email is not the fastest to reach me however, the best will be to chat with me via Steemit.chat @daddyku if you wouldn't mind! Cheers :)

Hi @daddyku

Just wanted to say "thank you" one more time for supporting my little contest. Engagement has been massive and I didnt expect it to be that big. It's going to be so hard to chose 5 best replies lol.
Just small reminder: Winners will be announced on the 28 April 2018 (saturday)
Yours, Piotr

@daddyku I see that indeed email isnt your biggest tool :)

Thx for your reply.

Unfortunatelly I dont use Discord/whatsapp etc. Im more of an email guy. About 3 years ago I realized that I spent to much time online so I got rid of my cellphone. Now once I close my laptop - Im 100% offline. Amazing feeling :)

Would keeping in touch via email ([email protected]) with you be an option? I value your comments and I think your content is interesting. My only goal is to support each other on steeemit.

I also realized that most people create their own channels on Discord so in order to keep in touch with let's say 30 people I would ... go mad! At the same time being able to check email from any place in the world is much easier.

Of course no pressure, drop me a message only if you feel comfortable with this form of private communication

I know email is not the fastest, but it's always something. Hope you dont mind dropping me a message :)

Yours, Piotr
