Thank you for pointing that out. It appears that I can't copy and paste the link from Discord. They changed the way links are created and its not working on my Pop!_OS machine. Strange and annoying. I noticed it after the previous update, but didn't really think much about it.
Not sure what to do about it. I just updated it again just now and its the same. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
I don't know how it was before because I have started using discord recently and aware of basic functions only. But I see that if you go to invite, there you get the link and it can be used to share with anyone.
I checked again but the link still didn't work and broken.
