Decentralized applications (dApps) are becoming increasingly useful for companies and developers all over the world. dApps are different from conventional applications which requires a central controlling authority to maintain the network and authorize any changes. dApps helps in eliminating the need for middleman in hosting and managing code and user data and hence, connect users and developers directly. Developers are able to make changes and modifications to their apps without the permission of a central authority.

If you’re a developer and want to build a decentralized application on the blockchain, then I can happily tell you that you have just found the platform that will be a nice fit for your needs. For any type of dApps you might want to build, ASCH Chain platform gives you everything you could ever need and make dApps building a lot more easier than any other platform out there.

ASCH is a decentralized platform based on multi chain architecture for dApp development. ASCH platform contains a lot of SDKs and APIs that are open source for any company or developer which can help them to easily build any dApp of their choice. ASCH prides itself of high efficiency, flexibility, low cost and reusability which makes ASCH platform the best dApp building platform on the market supporting many industries.

In an effort to upgrade the ASCH platform so as to enhance performance and increase scalability, the ASCH team just launched a new version called ASCH Chain Version 1.4 on the 1st of August. The new version greatly increases the degree of community participation and the election rules of the ASCH network were optimized to allow more holders to participate in community building in order to further develop the ecosystem and achieve true decentralization.

Unique Features of The ASCH Chain Version 1.4

  • Decentralized Gateways
  • Group Account
  • Token to voting right binding
  • Locked Position Benefit

Decentralized Gateways
ASCH solves one of the most critical problems of earlier versions of blockchain networks which is lack of interoperability between different blockchain networks. It’s impossible for Bitcoin network to interact with the ethereum network and other networks which is a major impediment to mainstream adoption of this stellar technology. The ASCH platform solves this problem with the introduction of decentralized gateways on the ASCH platform with the help of an interoperability protocol which allows the ASCH network to be integrated with other blockchain networks. The platform therefore becomes a bridge connecting the hitherto isolated blockchains. We achieved integration with Bitcoin network on 27th of May, 2018 while integration with Bitcoin Cash network was successfully implemented at the tail end of July, 2018. Decentralized gateways into other networks are expected to be added as we move ahead with the development of the platform.

Group Account
The ASCH version 1.4 also comes with an exciting feature of “Group Account” which allows different organizations who may need to jointly manage an account to be able to operate the account in an efficient and convenient manner. Two organizations in the same industry might decide to partner and need to build a dApp in order to interact with their users. ASCH provides them with a platform where they can such dApp that gives them both the ability to manage and update the account.

Token To Voting Right Binding
The consensus algorithms employed by most networks faces one major problem which is low community participation in voting. ASCH version 1.4 employs DPoS consensus which increases the level of community participation in the election of nodes thereby protecting the interest of each holder on the platform. This is basically achieved by giving every token holder the right to vote. The weight of each person’s votes is based on the number of tokens locked. For example, if you decide to lock 2 XAS (ASCH platform token), your voting weight is 2. The token holders are free to select whoever they want to represent them in the process of verification, accounting, decision making thereby enabling them to elect the nodes they trust. This method of voting ensures that the voting system on the ASCH platform is both fair and efficient

Locked Position Benefit
The ASCH version 1.4 comes with a wonderful way of rewarding the long-term believer of the platform. The growth of the ASCH community is very important and so the team came up with a system of rewarding members of the community who believes in the ASCH project by introducing a lock-in mechanism in the ASCH version 1.4. The amount of reward is proportional to the lock-in period on the platform.

In conclusion, the ASCH Chain Version 1.4 has been upgraded in all three aspects to further increase the level of community participation in the system and to further enhance the degree of decentralization of the network. Furthermore, the client interface has been greatly improved on to provide a simple and easy to use platform for organizations and developers alike. All of these are also geared towards improving the user's experience on this magnificent dApp building platform.
