How To Find Users To Auto Curate

in #blockchain10 months ago

You might be wondering what the easiest way is to find people to curate and add to your Hive Votes fanbase. What are the criteria that must be met, and how can you easily find those users? The challenging part is finding them.

First, let's talk about Fanbase Auto Vote. Auto voting by using Fanbase allows you to automatically vote on your favorite authors' posts every time they create and post on social platforms running

on Hive. You can do this by adding them to your fanbase using Hive Vote. To learn more about Hive Vote, read my post Upvoting On Hive: Passive Income

Auto voting doesn't mean that you won't have the chance to see their posts anymore. All you need to do is visit your curated content on your profile, and you will see all the posts of your favorite content creators that you have curated.

Auto voting is a good way to make sure that your HP (Hive Power) works for you. By doing this, you are generating additional income from curation without the need to manually browse the whole platform.

Now let's discuss the criteria of a good author to curate. The following criteria don't mean that the author is necessarily good, but it means that you can benefit from the content they are posting if they meet the following criteria:

Value of Content: First, check if the content they are posting doesn't contradict your values in life. Even though we want to earn, we still don't want to contradict our values just because of a few rewards.

Regular Posting: It's better to pick content creators who post regularly. Avoid adding authors to your fanbase who only post once in a blue moon. It doesn't matter if their post value is high; if they don't post regularly, you can't utilize the use of your HP effectively.

Upvotes: Check their profile to see if they regularly receive good upvotes from the community. Also, check if they have a regular big voter. You should vote before this big vote, so make sure you set the time of your vote before big votes come in.

Looking for content creators like this is hard, which is why I developed a strategy on how to find these creators.

Browsing Communities: Check popular communities as content creators are usually there, and they post regularly. One example is the Splinterlands Community, where many authors have a strong following, and they also post regularly because Splinterlands always has contests. To browse communities, click the community tab and select all communities. Communities play a big role in getting high votes for posts. Content in communities with little active members don't get that much vote.

Join Communities with Many Active Members: Join communities with a large number of active members. This increases the chances of finding content creators who meet your criteria.

Most Viewed: You can also use the "most viewed" page under PeakD's explore tab to see content that has the highest views. This can give you an idea of popular and engaging content.

Now that you have learned how to find authors with high-value content, add them to your Hive Votes fanbase.

Just make sure that you have at least a decent amount of HP; otherwise, it won't generate good rewards. To calculate your votes value go to Hive Vote Calculator
